Transportation Ministry to Manage Pulogebang Terminal

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama is optimistic to operate the Pulogebang Terminal in the near future. The Transportation Ministry's Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) along with Jakarta Transportation Dept, have also done a feasibility test for terminal in early this week.

Basuki disclosed, if terminal operational is normal, the management will be handed over to Transportation Ministry. Considering it is including type A, in which its authority lies in the central government.

Pulogebang Terminal Operational Socialized to Auto Bus CompaniesThe type A terminal is a main terminal that function to serve public transport, either nationally or internationally such as inter-city and inter-provincial (AKAP), cross-border transport, inter-city and in-provincial transportation, urban transportation and rural transportation.
Previously, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah disclosed Pulogadung Terminal, East Jakarta will operate in early June 2016. It is predicted, during homecoming period, many AKAP buses would be operated.
